ReciScan Campaign Organizer Terms

Effective Date: July 20, 2026

These Campaign Organizer Terms apply when you create, publish, or manage a pledge campaign through the ReciScan Portal. By using the campaign tools, you agree to the responsibilities below. The separate Seller Agreement also applies if you connect Stripe or offer books for paid sale through a ReciScan storefront.

1. Pledge Campaigns Are Not Online Purchases

A public campaign records a supporter's interest in reserving copies. ReciScan does not collect card information, charge a supporter, or transfer pledge funds to an organizer.

A pledge is not a completed purchase. The displayed price is an organizer-provided estimate. It may not represent the final printing, shipping, delivery, or tax amount.

2. Organizer Authority and Accurate Information

You represent that you are authorized to run the campaign for yourself or the identified group or organization. You are responsible for keeping the campaign name, purpose, expected price, deadline, contact information, images, and other public statements accurate and not misleading.

3. Payment, Printing, and Fulfillment

For pledge campaigns, the organizer—not ReciScan—is responsible for:

ReciScan does not guarantee that a supporter will pay, that an organizer will print or deliver a book, or that a campaign will reach its goal.

4. Supporter Information

Campaign tools may provide access to supporter names, email addresses, optional phone numbers, quantities, notes, balances, and statuses. You agree to:

5. Communications

You must provide a monitored public campaign email address and respond reasonably to questions about payment, changes, pickup, delivery, or cancellation. Campaign-related messages must identify the campaign accurately and must not contain deceptive, abusive, or unlawful content.

6. Children and School or Youth Campaigns

ReciScan's public pledge and recipe forms are not intended for direct use by children under 13. For school, team, church, or youth campaigns, instruct a parent, guardian, teacher, coach, or other authorized adult to submit contact information and recipes on a child's behalf. If you learn that information was submitted directly by a child under 13, contact support@reciscan.app.

7. Content and Acceptable Use

You must have the right to use campaign images, cookbook content, organization names, logos, and recipe submissions. You may not use a campaign to engage in fraud, impersonation, harassment, unlawful fundraising, spam, infringement, or attempts to bypass ReciScan security controls.

8. Storefront Handoff

An eligible campaign may link to the organizer's ReciScan storefront after pledging closes. Storefront purchases are separate paid transactions governed by the Seller Agreement, Stripe terms, storefront pricing, and ReciScan print-fulfillment policies. A pledge does not automatically become a storefront order.

9. Platform Availability and Enforcement

ReciScan may limit, suspend, close, or remove campaigns or accounts to address fraud, abuse, security risks, legal requirements, inaccurate campaign information, or violations of these terms. Campaign tools are provided on an “as available” basis and may change over time.

10. Privacy

ReciScan's handling of account, campaign, supporter, recipe, and order information is described in the Privacy Policy. Organizers are independently responsible for information they download, copy, or use outside ReciScan.

11. Changes and Contact

ReciScan may update these terms to reflect product, operational, or legal changes. Continued use of campaign tools after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
